Our client wants off VMware. Is Azure Local actually the answer?
Sometimes. Azure Local suits clients who are already Microsoft-centric, want hybrid management through Arc, and can absorb the hardware refresh. Clients who mainly want the licensing cost gone are often better served by Hyper-V or Proxmox. We will tell you which one fits before you propose anything, because the wrong recommendation is far more expensive than the scoping call.
How large a migration can you handle?
We have planned and executed migrations in the range of 300 virtual machines and 120 TB of data, moved in waves grouped by criticality with per-VM validation. Scale is less about the number of VMs than about dependency mapping and maintenance-window discipline.
Do you do AWS as well, or mainly Azure?
Both. Azure and Azure Local are where most partner demand currently sits, but we run AWS environments too — including S3 lifecycle and object-lock configuration, EBS and RDS snapshot strategy, cross-region resilience, and IAM policy review. Several long-running engagements have been AWS-first.
Can you take over an environment somebody else built badly?
Yes, and it is common. We start with a documented assessment of current state — what exists, what is exposed, what is costing money for no reason — and give you a prioritized remediation roadmap you can take to the client as your own findings.
Who holds the cloud tenancy and billing relationship?
Whichever your model calls for. We are happy to stay entirely out of the billing path and simply work in the tenant you point us at, with the access you provision. We are also a Microsoft CSP and an AWS partner, so if you would rather consolidate licensing or transfer AWS billing to us we can carry it. For partner work the choice is always yours, and the invoice always comes to you.
